We recommend our range of core learning and training sessions to all the organisations and businesses we work with. These courses lay the foundation for any further bespoke packages of support that we can design and tailor to your organisation’s unique requirements.

Our MHFA Courses

  • MHFAid Training (2 days)

    Train as a Mental Health First Aider and receive 3 years of certification. This course will help you to gain the knowledge and skills to spot the signs of people experiencing poor mental health, be confident to start a conversation and signpost to appropriate support. This course is delivered online in 4 flexible sessions of 3 hours 45 mins each.

  • MHFA Champion (1 day)

    This one day course gives you an understanding of common mental health issues, confidence to advocate for mental health awareness, ability to spot signs of mental ill health and the skills to support positive well being. We cover important topics such as depression, anxiety disorders and early warning signs of mental ill health.

  • Mental Health Awareness (Half day)

    This half day course raises awareness of mental health covering what mental health is and how to challenge stigma, a basic knowledge of some common mental health issues, looking after your own mental health and confidence to support someone in distress or experiencing poor mental health.

  • MHFAid Refresher (4 Hours)

    This four hour MHFA Refresher gives you the chance to renew your skills, update your knowledge of mental health support and practice applying the mental health first aid action plan. This course is only available to people who have completed a MHFAid course and can be delivered face to face or online.

Mental Health MOT

Our Mental Health MOT is all about establishing where you are now in terms of mental health in your workforce.  It provides a base from which we can work together to identify and make improvements with recommendations for actions.

  • Measure Progress

    It will include a RAG rating system and SWOT and we will together identify measurable impacts and changes that can be made to improve.

  • Action Plan

    You will also be provided with a tool and route map to make changes and improve.  You will have a solid starting point from which to move forward confidently and effectively.

  • Membership Perk

1/2 Day MHFAid Refresher Course (Online)

Venue: Online Workshop

This is the revised and updated MHFA Refresher course launched in June 2024. The course is now more interactive and practical. This half-day session is for Mental Health First Aiders to update their certification. The course is an opportunity to refresh your mental health first aid skills and knowledge of mental health resources to help you perform your role safely and effectively. Learning is via activities and discussion.
